KARACHI: Sindh Governor Justice (r)Saeeduz Zaman Siddiqui on Monday expressed sorrow and grief over the loss of lives in a fire that erupted in a hotel of the
provincial capital.
The governor has sought report regarding the incident from Karachicommissioner and also ordered the best possible medical treatments for the injured, a statement said.
Siddiqui further instructed the officials concerned to search every nook and cranny while conducting the inquiry into the incident to ascertain whether the fire wa
s caused by any human negligence or was there any element of sabotage. He further said t
hat after establishing the facts, concrete measures should be undertaken so that such incidents do not recur in future.
The governor offered condolences to the hei
rs of those who lost
their lives in the hotel fire. He also prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
